CASE #12: IMPLANT SUPPORTED PORCELAIN CROWNS

DIAGNOSIS
Patient presented to our practice unhappy with the esthetics of her upper teeth and smile.
The patient’s maxillary dentition presented with incisal edge attrition, (wear), leading to decreased tooth display during rest and smiling. Darkened tooth color, multiple areas of diastemas, spaces), present from the laterals incisors moving posterior. Cervical abstractions/abrasions lesions present on posterior left area, involving pre-molars and molars.
TREATMENT PLAN
After reviewing treatment options, the patient opted for eight porcelain crowns restorations form first pre-molar to first pre-molar.
Treatment allowed correction & closure of spaces present, increased tooth length from previous history of wear, which allowed for a more harmonious smile line. The porcelain crowns allowed the patient to select and achieve her desired tooth color appearance.
