CASE #8: PORCELAIN CROWNS & TEETH BONDING

The smile of your dreams is possible, with our help. Next, we show you a real case in which we apply porcelain crowns and teeth bonding to improve our patient’s smile:

DIAGNOSIS

Sixteen-year-old female patient presented following orthodontic treatment for congenital missing lateral incisors, malformed central incisor #9, altered passive eruption & demineralization.

Canine teeth #’s 6 & 11 had been lateralized w/ orthodontics into site #’s 7 & 10

TREATMENT PLAN

The treatment plan was to apply porcelain crowns and perform teeth bonging. To carry it out, we divided it into three stages:

1. complete esthetic gingival re-contouring (gingivectomy) to increase clinical crown length & harmonize the gingival zenith architecture.

2. Complete directing composite restorations (bonding) to canine teeth #’s 6 & 11 for appearance of lateral incisors.

3. Full coverage all ceramic restorations (crowns) for teeth #’s 8 & 9.
