DIAGNOSIS
Sixteen-year-old female patient presented following orthodontic treatment for congenital missing lateral incisors, malformed central incisor #9, altered passive eruption & demineralization.
Canine teeth #’s 6 & 11 had been lateralized w/ orthodontics into site #’s 7 & 10
TREATMENT PLAN
The treatment plan was to apply porcelain crowns and perform teeth bonging. To carry it out, we divided it into three stages:
1. complete esthetic gingival re-contouring (gingivectomy) to increase clinical crown length & harmonize the gingival zenith architecture.
2. Complete directing composite restorations (bonding) to canine teeth #’s 6 & 11 for appearance of lateral incisors.
3. Full coverage all ceramic restorations (crowns) for teeth #’s 8 & 9.
